## Parent Commissioning (Milestone)

**May 31 – Jun 21, 2026**

Our Parent Commissioning process represents a commitment by parents to raise their kids "in the training and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4), and a commitment by Southbridge Fellowship to come alongside them in that effort. Through this Family Ministry Milestone, we look to acknowledge, equip, and celebrate parents who express their desire to make disciples in their homes.

There are three steps in the Parent Commissioning process:

- **Step 1:**  Parent Orientation on **May 31st** at 9a.
- **Step 2:** Parent Commissioning Event on **June 7th** at 4p.
- **Step 3:** Parent Recognition on **June 21st** during both services.

At our **Parent Orientation**, we plan to share a vision with parents about parenting your children and how we plan to support you and partner with you as you disciple your children.

The **Parent Commissioning Event** is an intimate time where we *send* parents into their most important mission field - their home. Friends, family, and small group members are encouraged to attend.

The **Parent Recognition** shares with the body of Southbridge the intentional decision parents have made.
